ARREST/FIRE REPORT – February 21, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.

Blaine Miles Arthur, 43, of Fosston, for 2nd Degree DUI

Aaron Kenneth Kappes, 34, of Moorhead, for 4th Degree DUI

Ronald Lee Thunder, 38, of Redby, for DUI

Carleen Jane Slyt, 68, of East Grand Forks, for Domestic Abuse

Timothy Paul Windels, 34, of Minnesota, for 4th Degree Assault on Correctional Employees

Jacob Willia Doust-Harrington, 33, of Onamia, for 2nd Degree Drugs Sale of 10 Grams or More of Narcotics

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

2/18/2022

At 5:22 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1400 block of Sunflower St for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon investigation with Carbon Monoxide detecting tools, no Carbon Monoxide was found. The CFD then cleared the scene. 

2/19/2022

At 9:19 a.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of Fisher Ave for an emergency elevator alarm activation. Upon arrival, there was no danger present, and the CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.
