ARREST/FIRE REPORT- FEBRUARY 26

The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-

David Bradley Corneillie, 67, of East Grand Forks, for failure to appear in court.

Richard Thomas Sweigert, 38, of St. Paul, for theft and false representation.

Ryan Kenneth Earle, 42, of East Grand Forks, for being a fugitive from justice from another state.

Stephen Todd Pederson, 58, of East Grand Forks, for traffic DUI.

Carol Jean Rose, 61, no address listed, for fourth-degree DUI.

Nathan Wayne Hanson, 23, of Red Lake Falls, for failure to appear in court.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

2/24/2024

At 5:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Gretchen Ln for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be some issues with the fire alarm panel. There was no danger present. The CFD contacted staff, reset the panel, and then cleared the scene.

2/25/2024

At 4:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of 7th Ave S for a report of a small fire in a residence. Upon arrival, the CFD was able to extinguish the fire, and contain the damage to one room. There were no injuries to report. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene. The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
