The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Cheyenne Marie Chastain, 28 of Hibbing, for Fifth-Degree Drug Possession.
John Michael Jurek, 24 of Hibbing, for Fifth-Degree Drug Possession.
Joshua Keith Bazan, 36 of Chisholm, for Fifth-Degree Drug Possession.
Justin Dean Stauffer, 39 of Chisholm, for Fifth-Degree Drug Possession.
Lori Beth Hart, 38 of Hibbing, for Fifth-Degree Drug Possession.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 2/4/2022 –
At 3:26 a.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Euclid Ave for an alarm sounding in the basement. Upon arrival, the Crookston Police Department was on scene, and it was found that there was water leaking in the basement. It was found that there was a broken pipe, and the alarm sounding was a water leak detector. The CFD shut off the water source, located the water leak detector, and dried it to reset the alarm. The CFD then made contact with the property owner and turned control back over to the Crookston Police Department and cleared the scene.
