ARREST/FIRE REPORT-FEBRUARY 9

The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-

Amy Jo Koss, 34, no address listed, for failure to appear in court.

Jason Michael Carlness, 40, no address listed, for giving the peace officer the false name of another person.

Benjamin Louis Bush, 20, no address listed, for fourth-degree DUI.

Toni Teresa Mhyre, 42, no address listed, for theft.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 2/8/2024 –

At 12:30 p.m., the CFD responded to the 2300 block of Sahlstrom Dr for a report of a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, there was smoke present. The CFD ventilated the smoke and reset the alarm. The cause of the smoke is still under investigation. Once the area was deemed safe the CFD cleared the scene.

At 8:11 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Golf Terrace for a report of a power line arcing with a tree branch. The CFD contacted the power company, who upon arrival, cleared some branches from the power lines. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.
