Arrest/Fire Report – Monday, September 9, 2019

FIRE CALLS –
On Friday evening at 8:06, the Crookston Fire Department was called to Castle Park for an unattended campfire in the woods. They investigated, extinguished the fire, and cleared the scene.

At 9:20 Sunday evening, they responded to an alarm at the Polk County Justice Center, caused by burnt food. They reset the alarm and cleared the scene.                  

ARRESTS –
The Northwest Corrections staff reported the arrest of the following over the weekend –
Christopher David Maurstad, 43 of Warre, for fleeing a Peace Officer in a motor vehicle.
Allison Marjorie Tjossem, 35 of Crookston, for contempt of court
Darrell Richard Vaudrin, 59 of Crookston for public nuisance
Sandra Fay Hlady, 70 of Fisher, for Harassment, violation of restraining order,
Allen Tremell Smith, 31 of Minneapolis, for theft of a motor vehicle
