The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Brian Anthony Day, 50 of East Grand Forks, for a felony domestic abuse violation of an order for protection.
The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on 11/5/2020
At 8:19 am, the CFD responded to Section 10 of Gentilly township to the site of permitted grass fire from the previous night. Some powerline poles were smoldering from ditch fire. The CFD extinguished any smolders and cleared the scene once it was deemed safe.
At 3:00 pm, the CFD responded to the Castle Park area of the river, to retrieve a kayak on the river. The CFD climbed down the river bed, retrieved and returned the kayak to the owner, and cleared the scene.
