The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the following arrests.
Derek Jon Brekken, 34, of Crookston, for Domestic Abuse No Contact Order
Dennis Daniel Stanislowki, 33, of Crookston, for Probation Violation
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 1/12/2023 –
At 10:30 am., the CFD responded to the 500 block of Ingersoll Ave for a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be activated by cleaning crews. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the system and cleared the scene.
At 11:15 a.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of US Hwy 75 S for a report of a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that dust from cleaning had gotten into the detector, which cause the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.
