On Sunday, January 25th, at 7:30 p.m., the Crookston fire department responded to a general fire alarm activation on the 100th block of Sargeant. On scene, it was found to be a false alarm, so the panel was reset before clearing the scene.
On Sunday, January 25th, at 7:54 p.m., the Crookston fire department responded to a call for a cat stuck in a wall on the 400th block of Hunter. It was an outdoor cat seeking refuge from the cold weather. On scene, the responders set out a bowl of food and were able to lure the cat from its refuge in the wall before clearing the scene.
