The Northwest Regional Corrections reported the following arrests.
Douglas David Carr, 44, of Erskine, for Criminal Sex Conduct- 1st-Degree Contact with a Person Under 13
Nicholas Steven Pahlen, 23, of Plummer, for 4th-Degree DUI
Miguel Hernandez, 29, of Grand Forks, for Domestic Assault
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 1/26/2023 –
At 7:55 p.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of Marin Ave for a report of smoke coming from a laundry room. Upon arrival, there was a small fire in a clothes dryer. The CFD extinguished the fire and ventilated the building. The damage was contained to the clothes dryer. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD turned over control to staff and cleared the scene.
