The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the following arrests.
Jade Stewart Lufkin, 30, of Grand Forks, for Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle
Zachary Joseph Ayotte, 18, of East Grand Forks, for 3rd-Degree DUI
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 1/3/2023 –
At 12:04 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1200 block of Sunflower St for a report of a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be a system trip fault. There was no danger present. The CFD cleared the scene.
At 2:23 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1200 block of Eickhof Blvd for a report of a smell of gas. The CFD investigated, and no gas leaks were found. The area was deemed safe, and the CFD cleared the scene.
At 12:21 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1200 block of Eickhof Blvd for a report of possible Carbon Monoxide levels in a home. The CFD investigated with gas monitoring tools, and no CO was found. The area was deemed safe, and the CFD cleared the scene.
