The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Karissa Jean Wagner, 20, of Crookston, for fifth-degree assault.
Josiah Miguel Wagner, 21, of Crookston, for fifth-degree assault and intent to inflict bodily harm to another.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 1/8/2023 –
At 4:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1100 block of Barrette St for reports of smoke coming from the building. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated and it was found to be steam coming from a dryer vent that was mistaken as smoke. There was no danger present. The CFD then cleared the scene.
