The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Micheal Joseph Ward, 24, of Crookston, for second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
Arthur James Paulson, 63, of Grand Forks, for contempt of court-disorderly interruption of proceedings.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

At 9:14 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of E Fisher Ave and Sahlstrom Dr for a report of a downed powerline. Upon arrival, the CFD secured the area around the downed powerline. The CFD contacted Ottertail Power Company to make repairs. Upon Ottertail’s arrival, the CFD then cleared the scene.
