The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 7/13/2023 –
At 11:00 a.m., the CFD responded to Section 24 of Lowell Township along US Hwy 2 for a report of a vehicle stalled on the side of the road with smoke coming from under the hood. Upon arrival, the smoke had dissipated, and the cause of the smoke was deemed to be an overheating engine. There was no danger present. The CFD called a tow truck and cleared the scene.
