The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Alexander Scott Westby, 37 of Chisholm, for theft, use of transfer a movable prop with no consent
Johnathan Michael Rostvit, 27 of Duluth, DUI, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of any amount of schedule I/II drugs, not marijuana
John Pribula Gerald, 34 of East Grand Forks, fleeing a Peace Officer by a means other than a motor vehicle
Kevin Kent Spong, 59 of Fosston, for DUI
Justin Wade Johnson, 47 of St. Hilaire, for terroristic threats, cause or attempt to cause terror.
CROOKSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT –
On Saturday, July 20, at 7:00 a.m., the Crookston Fire Department was called to the 100 block of Sargeant Street for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm panel and then cleared the scene.
