ARREST/FIRE REPORT JULY 29, 2024

The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-

Jessica Dawn Nelson, 40 of Jamestown, ND, for DUI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of any amount schedule I/II drugs, not marijuana

Joshua Allen Lehman, 39 of Crookston, for domestic assault, subsequent violation

Troy Wayne Williams, 35 arrested in Crookston, for being a predatory offender knowingly violating registration requirements of intentionally providing false information

Devin Douglas Kotrba-Adamski, 29 of Bemidji, for driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety.

Brian Robert Swenson Jr, 19 arrested in Lengby, for obstructing the legal process, interfering with a peace officer.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend – 

7/28/2024

At 7:30 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1100 block of S Main St for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, there were no alarms sounding. The CFD investigated further and determined the power outage was the cause. There was no danger present. The CFD cleared the scene.

At 8:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of 6th Ave N for a report of a smoke alarm activation. Upon arrival, there was no danger present. It was determined that the power outage had caused the alarm to activate. The CFD tested all the alarms, and they were in working order. The CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.

At 10:45 a.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of US Hwy 75 and 120th St SW for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, all the occupants of the vehicles were out of their vehicles. The CFD assisted with roadway cleanup. The CFD then cleared the scene. For more information on this accident, CLICK HERE.
