The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the arrest of the following –
Taran Leroy Platow, 28, for DUI in the second degree, driving under the influence.
Arlen Eugene Tufte, 72, for DUI in the third degree, driving under the influence, and refusal to submit a chemical test.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 7/2/2024 –
At 11:15 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of 7th Ave S for a report of smoke coming from a residence. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the smoke. There was no danger present. The CFD cleared the scene.
