The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Nicholas Neil Raymond Tinkler, 18, of Grand Forks, for 5th-Degree Drug Possession
Kristina Rose Ranisate, 26, of Grand Forks, for 5th-Degree Sales of Marijuana Mixture
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 7/7/2022 –
At 12:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1800 block of S Main St. for a report of a fire on the outside of the house, that had been extinguished by the homeowner. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated and found that it was a cigarette butt that had been improperly disposed of. That cigarette butt caught a trash can on fire, which then caught part of the house on fire. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD then cleared the scene.
