ARREST/FIRE REPORT – JUNE 17 2024

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the arrest of the following over the weekend –  

Pablo Salinas Jr., 21, of Crookston, for Burglary in the first degree, assault person in building/on property.

Steven Paul Fjerstad, 71, of Fosston, for DUI in the third degree, driving while impaired and refusal to submit a chemical test.

Christopher Gabriel Noah, 51, of Crookston, for Disorderly Conduct.

Michael Robert Shern, 47, of East Grand Forks, for Drug Possession in the third degree, Methamphetamine/Amphetamine in School/Park/Public Housing.

Gage Collin Sargent,34, of Mahnomen, for a Parole Violation.

Jaiden Maurice Goodwin, 19, of Naytahwaush, for Assault in the second degree, assault with a dangerous weapon.

Javier Reice Goodwin, 18, of Mahnomen, for Terroristic Threats, cause or attempt to cause terror.

Nicholas James Myer, 39, of Hammond, Wisconsin, for DUI in the third degree, driving while impaired.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

At 7:30 a.m., the CFD responded to the 600 block of Bruce St. for a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be an issue with the alarm panel. There was no danger present. The CFD talked with staff, reset the panel, and then cleared the scene.

At 11:11 a.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of Central Ave N for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that dust from construction had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and then cleared the scene.

Police
