The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Jessica Anne Brownsell, 35, of Crookston, for DUI
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 6/22/2022 –
At 8:45 a.m., the CFD responded to the 400 block of N Main St for a report of a downed power line. Upon arrival, it was determined that the wire was not a power line. The CFD removed the line and contacted the appropriate utilities to see if repairs will need to be made.
At 12:10 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1000 block of Alexander St. for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools, and no Carbon Monoxide was found. There was no danger present. It was found that the Carbon Monoxide detector was at the end of its life. The CFD performed a smoke detector survey, and then cleared the scene.
At 3:40 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of 5th Ave N for a report of smoke in a house from a microwave. Upon investigation, it was found the source of the smoke was burnt food and not the microwave. There was no danger present. The CFD ventilated the house of smoke and performed a smoke detector survey. The CFD then cleared the scene.
