ARREST/FIRE REPORT-June 29

The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-

Jesse Alen Brooks, 19, of Crookston, for third-degree criminal sex conduct.

Thomas Gene Warren Jr, 40, of Mahnomen, for Transaction Card Fraud.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 6/28/2023 –

At 2:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 500 block of Walsh St for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be a detector from an air handler. The CFD investigated and there was no danger present. The CFD turned over control to staff and cleared the scene.

At 4:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 500 block of Walsh St. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be a detector from an air handler. There was no danger present. The CFD spoke with staff, who were going to clean the detector or get a professional to look into it. The CFD then cleared the scene.
