The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Michelle Kay Farrington, 57, no address listed, for third-degree DUI.
George Christopher Rick, 47, of Warren, for fourth-degree DUI.
Scott Sven Heydel, 33, of Bagley, for failure to appear in court.
Richard Joseph Karnowski, 43, of Mora, for failure to appear in court.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 3/13/2024 –
At 7:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of S Main for a report of Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools and there were high levels of Carbon Monoxide present. The CFD ventilated the residence. Upon further investigation, it was found that a vehicle running was the cause of the Carbon Monoxide. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD reset the alarm and then cleared the scene.
At 9:47 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated, and no danger was found. It was deemed to be a malfunctioning alarm. The CFD reset the alarm panel and cleared the scene.
