The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston made the following arrests.
Sandra Kay Sultvedt, 57, of Fosston, for 3rd-Degree DUI
Renae Gerri Dahl, 49, of Crookston, for 3rd-Degree DUI
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 3/21/2022 –
At 3:40 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Golf Terrace Dr. for a possible electrical fire inside a home. Upon arrival, there were no signs of a fire. The CFD started to investigate for any signs of a fire and was assisted by the electrician who was working on the home who arrived at the scene shortly after. The CFD did not find anything with their thermal imager and turned over control to the electrician. The CFD then cleared the scene.
At 11:30 p.m., the CFD responded to a call at the 100 block of Sargent St for an alarm activation in an apartment. Upon arrival, there was no danger present, and it was found the alarm was activated by the tenants smoking. The CFD was assisted by the Crookston Police Department and spoke with occupants about not smoking in their residence. The CFD then turned over control to the Crookston Police Department and cleared the scene.
