ARREST/FIRE REPORT – MARCH 30, 2023

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following –

Rodney Marlin Parr, 59 of Crookston, for DUI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of any amount of a schedule I/II drug, not marijuana.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 3/29/2023 –

At 8:12 a.m., the CFD responded to Fisher Ave for a report of a three-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted with traffic control, took pictures, and filled out paperwork regarding the accident. There were no injuries to report. The CFD then cleared the scene. 

At 1:47 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of 3rd St E for a report of a flow alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that a drop in pressure had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD talked to the building owner to repair or replace the alarm and then cleared the scene.

At 8:49 p.m., the CFD responded to the 300 block of Pleasant Ave for a report of a hot, electrical smell in a residence. Upon investigation, it was found to be a ceiling fan motor that had burned out. There was no danger present. The CFD then cleared the scene.
