The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Aaron Charles Stevens, 62 (no address given), for Hold Civil Commitment.
Kenari Devante Harper, 25 of St. Paul, for Failure to Appear.
Logan Matthew Melvie, 18 (no address given), for Third Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
5/13/2022
At 11:40 a.m., the CFD responded to Parnell township for a report of downed power lines. Upon arrival, it was found the power lines were downed by tree branches that were affected by high winds. The CFD called Red Lake Power Company, and upon their arrival, the CFD then cleared the scene.
5/14/2022
At 8:32 p.m., the CFD responded to the 600 block of Bruce St for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated with staff and found that low pressure in a compressor had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present, and the CFD cleared the scene.
