The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 5/18/2023 –
At 12:27 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of US Hwy 2 and the US Hwy 75 bypass for a report of a semi with a trailer of straw that had caught on fire. Upon arrival, the CFD was able to extinguish the fire. The CFD was able to save the truck, the trailer, and half the load of straw. There were no injuries to report. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD then cleared the scene.
