ARREST/FIRE REPORT – May, 3, 2021

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the following arrest over the weekend –

Jennifer Katherine Dunkin, 48 of Ada, for fifth-degree procurement/possession/control over a controlled substance.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

5/1/2021

The Crookston Fire Department was called to assist the Polk County Sheriff’s Office with a fire in a grass field and some woods. For the full story, click here.

5/2/2021

At 3:58 p.m., the CFD received a call from the Crookston Police Department to board up a vacant building on the 900 of Alexander St. CFD sealed the access points of the building and cleared the scene.

At 4:32 p.m., the CFD was called to the 100 block of 4th Ave N for a burning complaint. Upon arrival, CFD talked to occupants to maintain better control of the fire and cleared the scene.

At 7:55 p.m., the CFD received a call from the Crookston Police Department to assist with a search for some juveniles.
