Arrest/Fire Report – Tuesday, April 9, 2019

Fire Calls:

The Crookston Fire Department was called to Fisher Avenue near the Crookston Sports Center at 7:32 Monday morning for a submerged vehicle in the ditch. Everyone had gotten out of the vehicle safely, fire crews assisted with the investigation, clean-up, and traffic control; the vehicle was removed from the ditch and towed away.

At 12:55 Monday afternoon they investigated a gasoline smell in a residence on the 300-block of Cromb Street. Gas monitors found nothing in the house, a vehicle parked nearby was found to be leaking gasoline and the fumes made their way into the house.

The Fire Department assisted with a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fisher Avenue and North Broadway. A vehicle stopped for a person in the crosswalk was rear-ended by another vehicle. All persons were safely out of the vehicles when fire crews arrived, so the took pictures, cleaned up, and turned it over to the Police Department.
