Arrest/Fire Report – Monday, August 12, 2019

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:

Daniel James Fairbanks, 36 of Tamarack, for a felony 5th-degree drug charge for selling a marijuana mixture.  Released on personal recognizance.

Jordan Michael Slevin, 31 of Grand Forks, ND, for misdemeanor speeding in a rural residential district. Released on personal recognizance.

Devon Robert Berry, 23 of Warren, for felony 5th-degree drug possession. 

Terry Merl Danielson, 56 of Seffner, FL, as a felony fugitive from another state. 

Fire Calls:

Friday at 11:13 p.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to an alarm at the Care and Share Center; it was found to be a system malfunction.

On Saturday at 3:11 p.m., they were called to the Broadway Apartments for smoke coming from an electrical out let. Power was switched of and it was turned over to maintenance.

At 9:42 p.m. Saturday, they were dispatched to assist law enforcement in a search for a juvenile who had escaped from custody.

At 8:12 a.m. Sunday, they were called to the 500 block of Sherman Street, for a melted power cord on a stove that was apparently caused by a tree knocking down a power line outside the house. itwas turned over to Otter Tail Power Company’s crew.
