Arrest/Fire Report – Monday, February 8, 2021

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:

Alicia Ann Johnson, 21 of Crookston, for misdemeanor contempt of court for willful disobedience of a court mandate.

Bruce Alan Turner Jr., 37 of Naytahwaush, for felony 5th-degree drug possession.

Gloria Jean Hill, 27 of MN, for a misdemeanor for giving a peace officer a false name, birthdate, or ID card.

Bradley Joseph Hell, 32 of Fargo, ND, for felony 5th-degree drug possession.

The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls over the weekend:

2/6/2021

At 11:11 a.m., the CFD responded to the 2200 block of University Ave for an alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found that it was an accidental pull of an alarm. CFD reset the alarm system and cleared the scene.

At 5:04 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1300 block of Hoven Ln for a carbon monoxide detector activation. Upon investigation, no danger was present, and it was deemed to be a faulty detector. CFD then cleared the scene.

2/7/2021

At 8:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of University Ave and 6th Ave to assist the Crookston Police Department with motor oil cleanup. CFD cleaned up motor oil off the street and then cleared the scene.

At 11:40 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Gretchen Ln for an alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found that burnt food had activated the alarm. CFD ventilated the room and cleared the scene.
