Fire Calls
The Crookston Fire Department was called to a residence on the 500 block of North Main Street at 9:15 Wednesday morning, where a burner had been left open on the stove all night, filling the house with gas. The windows had been open to ventilate, so fire crews checked everything out and did a smoke survey for the occupants. They found one smoke detector that needed a new battery, other than that all was fine.
