Fire Calls
The Crookston Fire Department was called to the Polk County Government Center at 9:31 Wednesday morning for a person stuck in a malfunctioning elevator. They lowered the car to the next floor, freeing the passenger, and left it for maintenance to get repaired.
At 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, they responded to an alarm at the Justice Center, where burnt popcorn had triggered the smoke detector.
