Fire calls:
The Crookston Fire Department was called to the alley behind the 400 block of Pleasant Avenue at 9:50 Tuesday night for a sparking power pole. They investigated and secured the scene until Otter Tail Power Company crews arrived and replace a fuse that was causing the problem.
