Arrest/Fire Report – Wednesday, October 30, 2019

Fire Calls:

At 3:28 Tuesday afternoon, the Crookston Fire Department was called to Section 20 of Gentilly Township for a grain dryer fire. On arrival, the dryer was fully engulfed in fire. The flames were contained to the dryer and extinguished. The dryer suffered major damage.

At 5:07 p.m., they were called to Sunopta for a grain dryer fire. They spent several hours on scene removing and extinguishing smoldering debris, there was minor damage.

At 2:58 Wednesday morning, they returned to Sunopta for smoldering material at the top of a holding tank. That material was extinguished, nothing else was found, and they cleared the scene.
