ARREST/FIRE REPORT-NOVEMBER 1

The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-

Leeann Fleetwood, 46, of Grand Forks, for third-degree drug possession within a school, park, or housing zone.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 10/31/2023 –

At 11:24 a.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of US Hwy 75 and Country Rd 21 for a report of a two-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck and an SUV. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted local agencies by removing the individual from the SUV to be looked at by EMS. The CFD then assisted with the retrieval of the SUV from the ditch. The CFD then cleared the scene.

At 7:34 p.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of Marin Ave for a report of a fire in a clothes dryer. Upon arrival, it was found that staff had extinguished the fire. The CFD investigated to confirm there was no other danger present. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.
