The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Anthony James Hedlund, 49 of McIntosh, for Third-Degree DUI.
Donald Thomas Keown, 47 of Grand Forks, for Contempt of Court.
Allen James Jackson, 41 of Bagley, for Parole Violation.
Ricardo Devon White, 24 (no address given) for Parole Violation.
Juan Alberto Garza Ramirez, 52 of Carrizo Springs Texas, for Third-Degree DUI.
Luke Bernard Wilson, 21 of Goodridge, for Third-Degree DUI.
Tommie Lee Wilkins Jr, 36 (no address given) for being a Fugitive in another state.
Jennifer Marie Compeau, 33 of East Grand Forks, for Drug Possession and storing of Drugs in the presence of a child or Vulnerable Adult.
Jason Allen Gourneau, 38 of East Grand Forks, for First-Degree Drug Possession of Methamphetamine.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
10/29/2021
At 4:34 p.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of N Main St. for a reported gas leak. Upon investigation, it was determined to be caused by some mechanical damage to a meter being hit by a piece of equipment. The CFD shut off the gas and waited for the gas company to repair the issue. Once the scene was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.
At 5:05 p.m., the CFD responded to the 2900 block of University Ave for an alarm activation at the heating plant. Upon arrival, it was found to be caused by coal dust. The CFD helped ventilate the area and reset the alarm, and cleared the scene.
10/30/2021
At 11:10 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of Pine St and W 6th St for a car that ran off the road and ran into a hill. The CFD assisted with traffic control and assisted local agencies. The CFD then cleared the scene.
10/31/2021
At 3:14 a.m., the CFD responded to the 400 block of Woodland Ave for a smoke detector activation. Upon investigation, it was found that the detector needed a new battery. There was no danger present, and the CFD replaced the battery and cleared the scene.
