The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Eric Floyd Shepard, 39, of Longville, for Exceeding the Speed Limit by over ten mph
Anthony Richard Wiley, 36, of Arvilla, ND, for 1st-Degree DUI
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 11/1/2022 –
At 4:00 p.m., the CFD responded to a mutual aid call with the East Grand Forks Fire Department. The CFD sent a water-tender truck to assist the East Grand Forks Fire Department with additional water supply for a rural barn fire. Once their assistance was no longer needed, the CFD then cleared the scene.
At 12:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that a tenant was burning incense which caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.
