On Wednesday, November 19th, at 3:30 pm, the Crookston fire department responded to an elevator activation in at the 2900th block of university. Staff at the university said someone must’ve bumped the alarm as there was nobody stuck inside the elevator, and it worked just fine. So, they cleared the scene.
Later on, Wednesday, November 19th, at 8:30 pm, the Crookston fire department responded to a general alarm activation at the 2900th block of university. On scene, there was smoke in the hallways that staff reported was caused by burnt food. They used a smoke ejector to clear the hallway and cleared the scene.
