The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Ethan Cole Peterson, 19, no address listed, for fourth-degree DUI.
Anton Erick Sandberg, 46, of Grand Forks, for third-degree DUI.
Tahlon Chaz E Sayers, 20, of Winger, for domestic assault misdemeanor and act to cause fear or immediate bodily harm or death.
Armel Mugisha, 34, of Grand Forks, for third-degree DUI and refusal to submit a chemical test.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
11/18/2023
At 8:40 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for a report of a general alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had cased the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD ventilated the residence, reset the alarm, and cleared the scene.
11/19/2023
At 8:24 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1500 block of N Broadway for a report of smokey conditions in a hallway. Upon arrival, the smoke had dissipated. The CFD could not find the source of the smoke, and no danger was present. The CFD then cleared the scene.
