The Northwest Regional Correction Center Reported the Arrest Of The Following-
John Louis Vondal, 41, of East Grand Forks, for 3rd Degree Drug Possession.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 10/14/24:
Monday morning at 8:32 a.m., CFD responded to a report of a gas stove left on overnight. The house smelled like gas, so crews ventilated it before clearing the scene.
Tuesday morning at 1:15 a.m., CFD responded to the intersection of Highway 2 and 280th St. SW for a motor vehicle accident. Two beet trucks collided, and one of the trucks was turned on its side and blocking traffic. CFD helped remove a person trapped inside the overturned truck, then turned him over to EMTs for treatment of his minor injuries. Crews then helped move the trucks out of the way and clear the scene.
