ARREST/FIRE REPORT-OCTOBER 2

The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-

Kyle Thompson Duane, 30, of Twin Valley, for fifth-degree possession and control over a controlled substance.

Corey Lance Mathieu, 36, of Crookston, for assault in the fifth degree with intent to inflict bodily harm.

Chase Robert Kuehl, 28, of Hermonton, for failure to appear in court.

Scott Lee Yost, 49, of Twin Valley, for careless driving.

Kellie Shelene Nelson, 30, of Hinkley, for open container violation and consumption while driving.

Dylan Micheal Martin, 24, of Crookston, for traffic DUI.

Summer Starr Agha, 44, of East Grand Forks, for a probation violation.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

9/29/2023

At 10:44 a.m., the CFD responded to the 600 block of 7th Ave W for a report of a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools, and no Carbon Monoxide was found. It was determined that it was a faulty detector. The CFD contacted the maintenance staff to replace the alarm and then cleared the scene.

9/30/2023

At 10:22 p.m., the CFD responded to the 2900 block of Univeristy Ave for a report of a general fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD ventilated the room, reset the alarm, and cleared the scene.
