The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Charles William Zornes, 54, of Lengby, for driving after cancellation.
Abdi Ismail Muhumud, 43, of Grand Forks, for fourth-degree DUI.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 10/24/2023 –
At 7:38 a.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of Eickhof Blvd for a report of a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cardboard had been placed in a sauna, which caused a small fire. The fire was extinguished before the CFD arrived on the scene. The CFD used a thermal imager to make sure there was no other danger present. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.
