The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Jakob Ronald Wiirre, 20 of Crookston, for DUI.
Carl James Gustafson, 23 (no address given), for Fifth-Degree Assault.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 10/26/2021-
At 7:33 a.m., the CFD responded to the 700 block of Summit Ave for a report of a gas smell. Upon arrival, the gas smell was confirmed, and it was found that the cause was a furnace malfunction. The furnace was turned off, and Great Plains Natural Gas Company was on scene with the CFD to fix the malfunction. Once the malfunction was fixed, the furnace was turned back on and there was no other danger present. CFD cleared the scene.
