The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Whitney Paige Anderson, 27, of Crookston, for 3rd-Degree Drug Possession in a School/Public Housing Zone.
Brandon Michael Hageman, 23, of St. Hilaire, for 3rd-Degree Drug Possession in a School/Public Housing Zone
Amber Ozell Mashburn, 51, of East Grand Forks, for 3rd-Degree Drug Possession in a School/Public Housing Zone
Robyn Rae Darlene Pesch, 33, of Grand Forks, for 3rd-Degree Drug Possession in a School/Public Housing Zone
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
10/1/2022
At 10:44 a.m., the CFD responded to the 700 block of Summit Ave for a report of an unknown gas smell. Upon investigation, it was found to be a pilot light had gone out on the stove. There was no danger present and the area was deemed safe. The CFD then cleared the scene.
At 5:43 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1800 block of University Ave for a report of a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival, it was found that the vehicle had caught fire, but only had smoke visible from the exterior. The CFD extinguished any hot spots in the vehicle. It is thought to be a wiring malfunction that started the fire. Once there was no danger present, the CFD then cleared the scene.
