ARREST/FIRE REPORT-OCTOBER 7, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.

Christopher Arnet Wilson, 42, of Warren, for 3rd-Degree Burglary

Rogerio Nascimento, 42, of Linden, NJ, for 2nd-Degree Criminal Sex Conduct-Accomplice Armed with a Dangerous Weapon.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 10/6/2022 –

At 10:54 a.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of State St for a report of a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools and there was no Carbon Monoxide present. Upon investigation, it was found that the detector was at the end of its life. There was no danger present. The CFD replaced the detector and cleared the scene.

At 3:38 p.m., the CFD responded to section 34 of Roome township for a report of a beet truck rollover. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted with traffic control and cleanup. There were no injuries to report. The CFD then cleared the scene.

At 11:05 p.m., the CFD responded near the intersection of Washington Ave and Fairfax Ave for a report of a deceased animal on the road. The CFD assisted the Crookston Fire Department with roadway cleanup. The CFD then cleared the scene.
