ARREST/FIRE REPORT-SEPTEMBER 22, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrest.

Kyle Duane Thompson, 29, of Twin Valley, for Domestic Assault

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 9/21/2022 –

At 12:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of US Hwy 2 and US Hwy 75 N for a report of a semi-truck on fire. Upon arrival, it was found that the vehicle’s alternator had caught fire. The vehicle’s driver extinguished the fire with the fire extinguisher located in the vehicle’s cab. The CFD investigated to make sure the scene was safe and the fire was extinguished correctly. Once it was deemed that there was no danger present, the CFD turned over control to the other responding local agencies and cleared the scene.
