ARREST/FIRE REPORT-SEPTEMBER 23, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.

Whitney Paige Anderson, 27, of Crookston, for 4th-Degree DUI

Thatcher Wade Ellingson, 23, of West Fargo, for Driving after having his Driver’s License Suspended

Cian Destiny Swifthawk, 21, of Devils Lake, for Public Nuisance

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 9/22/2022 –

At 4:42 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of 5th Ave S for a report of a gas odor in a home. Upon investigation, it was determined that it was a sewer odor and the city had been working on that block’s sewer pipes. There was no danger present, the CFD then cleared the scene.

At 8:55 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1500 block of N Front St. for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools, and no Carbon Monoxide was found. It was determined that the Carbon Monoxide detector had low batteries. There was no danger present. The CFD replaced the batteries and cleared the scene.
