The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following –
Chais William Leach, 31 of Grand Forks, ND, for theft, take/use/transfer movable property with no consent.
Crookston Fire Calls
At 11:20 a.m yesterday, the Fire Department was called for a multi-vehicle accident. An SUV and a Beet Truck collided at the intersection of 190th Street SW and 270th Avenue SW. The beet truck was tipped on its side when the Fire Department arrived, and the SUV was in the ditch. The Fire Department assisted EMS with treating patients; there were no serious injuries. The Fire Department then controlled traffic, cleaned debris, and cleared the scene.
At 3:30 p.m. yesterday, the Fire Department was called to the 2900 block of University Avenue for an alarm activation. When they arrived, they were met by staff, who explained that it was a faulty alarm and that maintenance was working on correcting it. The Fire Department assisted in resetting the alarm, and they cleared the scene.
