ARREST/FIRE REPORT SEPTEMBER 6

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following-

Cody Lee Hedstrom, 23, of Mahnomen, for 5th Degree Assault

Luis Mario Martinez, 26, of Watford City, for Probation Violation

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 9/5/24:

At 9:20 a.m., CFD responded to the 300 block of E 4th St. after a report of flames coming out of a boiler room. The fire was extinguished, and the scene was turned over to staff at the building.

At 7:23 p.m., CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. because a smoke alarm was set off. A burnt food item triggered the alarm. Crews reset the alarm and cleared the scene.
