The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Abdiamin Mohamed Abdullahi, 22 of East Grand Forks, for Disorderly Conduct.
David Scott Holm, 27 of Grand Forks, for Third-Degree Drug Possession and Selling of Narcotics.
Austin Lee Garceau, 28 of Thief River Falls, for Fifth-Degree Drug Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
9/4/2021
At 7:30 p.m., the CFD responded to a call at Aunt Polly’s Slough for an unattended campfire. Upon arrival, CFD did not find anyone in the area near fire. CFD extinguished the fire and once the area was deemed safe, cleared the scene.
9/6/2021
At 2:00 a.m., the CFD responded to a call at the 1000 block of Eickhof Blvd for a smoke detector activation. Upon investigation, the cause was found to be a low battery. There was no danger present, CFD assisted the homeowner with replacing the battery and cleared the scene.
