ARREST/FIRE REPORT- SEPTEMBER 6, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrest.

Bradley James Erickson, 46, of Climax, for Criminal Vehicular Homicide

Demetrius Lee Griffin, 53, of Crookston, for 3rd-Degree DUI

Renato Antonio Diaz Jr., 40, no address provided, for Public Nuisance.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

9/2/2022

At 11:22 p.m., the CFD responded to section 24 of Lowell township for a report of a one-vehicle accident. The CFD assisted local agencies with traffic control and cleanup. The CFD then cleared the scene.

9/3/2022

At 12:43 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1300 block of Barrette St. for a report of a detector sounding. Upon investigation, it was found that the detector was at the end of its life. There was no danger present. The CFD informed the resident to replace the detector and cleared the scene.

9/4/2022

At 12:13 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1300 block of Meadowland Ave for a report of a Carbon Monoxide alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found that the detector was at the end of its life. There was no CO present, and the CFD informed the resident to replace the detector. The CFD then cleared the scene.

9/5/2022

At 11:58 a.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of 260th St SW and 230th Ave SW, for a report of a two-vehicle accident with airbags deployed. The CFD assisted local agencies with traffic control and cleanup. The CFD then cleared the scene.
